If there are blocks, thats a red flag for a non stock truck.. I dont know of a ford truck if any that came with blocks from the factory.. Too much of a safety hazard
theres definitely blocks it looks just like yours but no one has touched the suspension...ill see if theres a name on there tomorrow. so theres positively no way that its stock? my aunt my just be forgetting...my uncle did an engine rebuild in the late 80s ....i have his log and i dont see any suspension parts on there. also it was stolen it may be possible they did it after it got stolen. but i dont think so

False. Those pics show you a factory block. Every truck that puts the leaves on top of the axle has a block of some size from the factory. They did on these old trucks, and they still do on the new stuff.
Agree with Sleepy.................the blocks in those pics are stock................every 4v4 1/2 ton dent Ive ever been around had em. And Ive been around a bunch.
If it's sitting just like tbear's and everything looks the same then it's stock height. Most of these old trucks have been used and abused and are just plain old. The ride height starts to sag after a while. After seeing so many sagging susp. it starts to look like the original height is kinda tall.
I've had people think I have a leveling kit or add a leaf on my highboy. They are the factory springs, they just aren't saggin like a lot of peoples are.
Be happy, your springs are fresh.
oh i am...this project is never ending...just bleeding the breaks today the bleeder screw stripped the inside of the wheel cylinder.....i was barley tightening it!!!! always fun though and you always learn something new
