If you dont like the "orange peel" after you clear it, you can Wet sand the part with 1000 grit, then 1500 grit then finish it up with 2000 grit till there is no more "orange peel" then buff it out. But make sure you have 2-3 coats of clear or you will cut through to the base coat.
We seem to be in some very turbulent times in our weather…we have many members of FTE who have lost homes, businesses and their livelihood to water, many who are in extreme drought conditions and now we have fire ravaging the southwest.
Yesterday Los Alamos New Mexico (where I grew up and my family is) was evacuated .....18k people gone because of a fire that has grown 50 thousands acres in just 20 hours
…. It was just 11 years ago we lost 400 homes in Los Alamos to the Cerro Grande Fire that fire was only 48 thousand acres…it took a month to get that big….this Las Conchas Fire is extremely fast
.....Take a moment today and pray not just for fire victims but for all victims,….. During a very turbulent time in America with Mother Nature
Good morning my FTE buddies!
Whew....monday is over, was a tough one, as everything went wrong......
But thanks Goodness the good Lord gives "do overs", as today is here.
Have a great day my friends!
Good Morning All!!! Still at battle with that vacuum furnace, arghhh. Tomorrow should be fun, I will be hanging at a Cub Scout Camp as a range officer..This I expect to be fun..
Been working on my opening lines
"we in the cub scouts dont believe in Coporal punishment, we do not however have anything against restrants" while holding a role of duct tape..
or
"We in the cub scouts do not believe in coporal punishement, but since none of you are coporals, there should be no problem, let the beatings begin"
Dennis, how do you like those Duratracs? We used to live in Midland, I worked for the City. I've been looking at the Duratracs and Fierce Attitude mt's. I really need some taller tires.

Sweet! I really like the duratracs, got 57k on mine. I'll probably get another 5K out of them before they give up the ghost. I'm getting 35s next, and I'm thinking of getting the duratracs again. They're awesome in the mud and snow and perform very nicely on wet and dry roads too. I took my truck to Silver Lake Sand Dunes last year and they did the job in sand too
