Ordered my bushwacker pocket style fender flares and tail light guards. Should be here on Wednesday from what the shipping # says.
I was searching around on the internet today and found a coupon for an extra 10% off on a 38r from Riffraff. Just might pull the trigger. I have until July 4th to make up my mind.
I do have a question about painting some stuff for all the painters out there. I did post a thread in the painting section, but no one responded.
I want to "white out" my Ex, and plan on painting the cowl, mirrors, tail light guards.
The guards are metal so that no problem, but have no experience painting the stuff the fender flares are made of. I'm a little worried about the mirrors since there is a texture to them, and I dont want an "orange peel" look once they are painted.
I do have some paint mixed from when I painted the bar and lights. I would think there is some other additive to mix when dealing with plastic or the "poly" whatever stuff.
