I started to do a swap in my 77' f150 from a c6 to a np435 around late September but then winter set in and I was forced to put my tools up and start plowing snow. The weather here in Utah has sucked and I havnt been able to get back to finish the swap until this weekend. I have the clutch, flywheel, trans, t-case, starter, pedal assembly, and drive shafts in but I cant figure out how the z bar goes in. I dont know if im missing a part or im just an idiot. Its been so long since I took it apart i just cant remember how it goes back in. any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated
There is also a bracket that mounts to the engine/bell. The bolt hole may be missing on your engine as it was an automatic. However it can be drilled and tapped.
This is the best picture I can get right now. If nothing is posted before tomorrow, I could actually go take a picture of it on my engine, as it's removed from the truck at the moment.
