help with np435 swap

I started to do a swap in my 77' f150 from a c6 to a np435 around late September but then winter set in and I was forced to put my tools up and start plowing snow. The weather here in Utah has sucked and I havnt been able to get back to finish the swap until this weekend. I have the clutch, flywheel, trans, t-case, starter, pedal assembly, and drive shafts in but I cant figure out how the z bar goes in. I dont know if im missing a part or im just an idiot. Its been so long since I took it apart i just cant remember how it goes back in.

any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated

Do you have the bracket that attaches to the top of the drivers side frame rail that the z-bar pivots on?

There is also a bracket that mounts to the engine/bell. The bolt hole may be missing on your engine as it was an automatic. However it can be drilled and tapped.

yes i have the bracket the z bar pivots on but i dont have the one that goes on the engine

where would the bolt holes be on the engine if they are there?

This is the best picture I can get right now. If nothing is posted before tomorrow, I could actually go take a picture of it on my engine, as it's removed from the truck at the moment.

And this is the part you need. (Took it off another engine I have out there, haha.)

Keep in mind this is a 351 Windsor, so it may be a bit different than your application.

Don't be afraid to pull parts from other trucks as-well, 68-79 will work just fine, but watch out for 67, they used some one year only parts.

That frame bracket stayed the same from 1968 to 1979, all engines, all transmissions f100-f350! The bracket on the engine is specific to the motor.
