I need some help identifying this c6 I have. I have no information on the truck it came out of and it didn't have a tag. I was thinking about putting into a '77 ford Bronco with a 302 or selling it. I'm pretty sure it is a big block 335 from what I can find on this site and I think it is a '77 vintage. I would really appreciate it someone could chime in with their two cents worth. It has a NP205 attached.
It sounds like you may have already found that one.
As far as other info, a C6 is a C6--ratios are the same, some differences in the input shaft and TCs to be watched for, but this info from a TC & trans seller indicates the crank pilot is the same SBF, 335 & 385 series.
It's a 429/460 or 351M/400 trans. It won't bolt to a 302. They come in short tail or long tail. That one is a long tail & I don't think it will work in a short wheel based truck or Bronco.
