I just did a power steering install sourced from a pic-n-pull and have the same leaky problem.
I have not been able to determine exactly where the leak is coming from yet but I am glad I ran into your post here; I might just replace it with a Napa reman and call it a day (well a long day anyway cause pulling these beastly ps boxes is no joke!)
Usually the pic n pull parts have a 30 exhange policy, can either swap for another or go w/ the reman. If decide to go the later route suggest going to Napa online website and check prices at locat napa dealers, found prices can vary $20-$30. Napa happened to have box in stock, if not, I could have gone w/ autozone who also offer lifetime warranty.
