Put some eth free gas in my truck the other day. Our city finally got a couple of stations that handle it. So from now on, at least my boat will get real gas premium put in it, and once in awhile, the truck. Will be doing a 1400m road trip in a few months, will be interested in seeing how my mileage changes.
Wish my state would let me buy ethanol free gas missouri mandates 10% ethanol on all gas sold in the state..
Alot of the 91 or 93 in missouri is ethanol free. Do a google search for ethanol free gas and enter your zip code. I believe the law is the anti-knock rating has to be over 91 in order to sell E0 gas in MO. I do no know for sure but do know that i have seen stations advertising ethanol free 93 on their signs.

The law actually mandates ethanol if it is less expensive than the other octane booster options. So, depending on market conditions 87 to 89 (and even some 90+) octane gasolines may or may not contain ethanol. Given the myriad number of "boutique" fuel blends due to EPA and other regulatory agencies no wonder fuel prices fluctuate so wildly from one community to another - and sometimes even within the same community!
I live in MO. I just put 91 in my 2005 King Ranch last week. Driving it about 100 miles per day. My fuel mileage said 15.2. It had been saying 13.2 with 87 octane. I left my key on and ran the battery dead so the trip meter got reset so I havent done the math at the pump yet. But I know its better.
I've recently done a switch over to ethanol free. I was noticing low mileage before the switch (about 650-700kms to a 135L tank). After the switch I was getting 750-825kms per tank. The truck has 110xxxkms on it and could use a tune up so I think these numbers could get even better.
I've noticed that Shell gas has worked better than anything else for me, but that's just my opinion.
