Electrical problem driving home

2002 Excursion Limited w/7.3 & 4X4.
My wife and I were driving home and the ABS light came on, followed by the radio completely turning off and no control of it, followed by a loss of the instrument cluster function. Lights stayed on and we were able to make it home. Went to start it up this morning and everything was functioning again (ABS continued to stay on) but after some time the radio shut off again. Turned the engine off and back to Accessory and radio came on. Turned engine on and used the steering wheel controls and the volume button only Increased volume (even when pressing the down button). Instrument cluster is operational. Didn't leave it running long enough to see if it would go out again.

Anyone else ever encounter an issue lie this? Any recommendations before I take it in to the shop??

Check each battery with a volt meter to make sure they're at 12V. You'll need to disconnect each one at a time and test it by itself. Then, I would check the alternator.
