2006 e250 rought idle/stall

Howdy!

I hope I can get a quick answer for this. My old man has a 2006 e250 van w/ a 5.4 V8. Yesterday, the blower motor broke, so we had to replace that (which involved removing the battery, battery tray, and also replacing the blower motor resistor).

Today, whole new issue. Start the van, and it has a pretty rough idle and it cuts out. Pulled codes with my scanner and it is giving me the P0506 code (low idle air intake) . My first instinct is a bad/gunked up IAC valve. Truck has over 200,000 miles on it, so it's not outside the realm of possibility. I'm hoping just to get some feed back from you guys since this forum is so full of knowledge!

If anyone can also point out to a step by step repair, or a manual, or anything with pics, that would greatly be appreciated! I've never worked on one of these before, so I'm not even 100% sure where to find this bad boy!

Thanks in advance and hoping for good help!

Ok small update to it... I Might have been wrong about the IAC valve. Dad went to the dealership, and the guy behinds the part counter said his truck doesn't have one (info pulled using his VIN number). I wasn't there, but apparently the part they suggested was like half of the throttle body itself to replace.

I googled around and see online part sites selling IAC valves for a 2006 e250, but apparently not all of them had one?
