Stories like yours are great to hear! The majority of 6.0L's are like this IMO - especially if you exclude vehicles not properly maintained and/or heavily modified engines that aren't equipped w/ the necessary performance parts (studs and aftermarket fuel supply to name a few).

early 03-6.o

i bught an early 6.0 that just came off the 100,000 mile warranty.i've put another 100,000 miles on it and have only replaced the icp on the engine,ball joints and end link bushings,and the alternator,gets 17.90 on the road and 15.60 in town.best truck i,ve had and i'm 71 years old and owned more than 1 of all of them.
