Front Splash Shields

Anybody near me (State College) or within a reasonable distance have any front splash shields laying around they want to get rid of? I have looked in just about every junkyard around here, and I cant seem to locate a pair of them......

They're all over the yards out here, 73-75 didn't come with fender splash shields, 76-79 did.

Montana, You're absolutely right!

For those of you who value your truck (and don't line in the desert southwest) I think adding the splash shields is an upgrade very much worth doing.

For those that aren't familiar, they are a plastic fender liner that keeps road **ap such as salt, slush, mud, etc from getting to either the front of the cab firewall, area the actual inner fender or the outer fender. Without the splash shield your front tires can kick up this wet goo and it will sit there and "work its magic" causing rust and corrosion.

Great point, it's a nice retrofit/upgrade, especially for those living in the rust belt, or anywhere the roads are salted during the winter, they can save your front cab mounts.

It never seems to amaze me as what is not available or rediculously priced. From now on I'm taking them with the fender.

I'm hijacking this...Kingford I do believe we are almost neighbors. I live in Hellam.

Anyway I did the splash shields as well. I think I got them from a Bronco. As for in State college no idea. If you get down to York at all I know a guy that could probably hook u up. He has tons of 73-79 stuff.

Was thinking of adding them to my 74 250. Is there anything you need to buy to make them fit or anything I might want to use when installing them?
