Anyone have a shop manual for these trucks? Like the same kind the dealership uses. I have a haynes but i dont like it very well. Anyone know where i would find one? I checked ebay and they only had one set at like $140. Anywhere else?
My truck had some manuals with it when I bought it, I believe they were Helm. I can't think of the numbers off the top of my head, but the operators manual has an appendix in the back that lists all the manuals that apply to your specific vehicle by name and number... it is like an order form or something.
It should be but no way of knowing for sure.
You would have to take the sellers word for it.
But there should be more than the shop manuals on the CD's. You should also get the EV&TS manuals and the PCEDs manuals and you will use them more than the shop manuals.
What I do not understand about that sale is the need for the Acrobat Reader. Normal FORD disks by FORD do not need a reader, they open on their own, at least all of mine do.
how would i tell after i receive them if they are the ones by FORD? that way i can let everyone know after i get mine. 10 bucks aint too bad to me for a set of manuals. i paid like 20 something or however much the haynes are at autozone. and the helm ones are 45 but their sold out..
If they are from Ford the pages will have the Ford logo on them. My current 1993-1994 truck and 1996-1999 Truck Ford CDs open in web style browser. It will be interesting to see what we get with these CDs.
