2000 5.4 max a/c problems
Hello,
I am new to this whole thing so forgive me if someone has already asked this question, however I was wondering if anyone has any insight on why my max a/c setting sounds like a tornado blowing but it only comes out of the vents about an inch. My regular a/c works good, sometimes it does not blow very cold but I have good flow, it is just the max setting where it sounds like it is blowing but has little flow coming out. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

when you put it in the max setting it re circulates inside air instead of pulling in fresh outside air.the ac will become coldest this way instead of allways cooling warmer outside air. sounds like a mode door under the dash not opening properly, binding,etc. I dont know if the mode doors on your year are electrical or vacuum operated, best bet is to get a manual for it if you dont have one and chase it down with the manual.
