the PO had installed a toggle switch for the Fuel Pump. It was an anti-theft idea. anyways, i was told that i have to turn it on about 5 seconds before cranking. and idk what problem im having but 1/2 the time i want to start the truck, it will almsot start then die & not start again unless i let it sit for a while.
Starter relay?
passenger fender by battery.
you can jump both terminals and see if it starts.
Maybe check the starter silonoid and when cranking checking if you have power on both sides of the silonoid.
if power is there on both sides, and its not starting well then you found your problem.
turn the key on then flip the switch can you hear the fuelpump run??? it will only run for like 10 seconds check the pressure on the fuel rail. you might even pull the ign module on the dist if it fails you loose spark. youll need a special tool to remove it well that gives you a starting point
