ok im wanting to still tow with my truck. would you do 175cc or 190cc. also for turbo's would you do the elite ssx or powermax. elite ssx is a 64.7mm turbo so also what im wondering is if i do 190cc with that turbo will it still be like stock but with a butt load more power. i tow pretty heavy but only in the summer. let me know what yall think or if you have something completely different im open to that also just dont want to risk anything being that it still needs to be super reliable
my vote goes to 155 and a powermax. but you may want to look at what tex has built iirc 508hp and reliable towing /work truck.
I second this vote. If you're going to tow heavy, especially in the summer you DON"T want 190's. You can go crazy fast with 155's and still have a great driving truck. The powermax is just a great turbo. Period.
ok im loving the input! will 155cc make 500+ hp. its just a goal of mine to have a 500 hp towing truck. i tow heavy but that consist of a few times a year. most of it is a gooseneck with a skid steer on it and a few little things but atleast 12k
if one 155 wont get you then you then you will be very very close. you will also have to plan on some transwork in the not to distant furture as already stated.
yea i kinda figured that but im hoping if i can make it last another 50k i should be good. i dont dog the truck hardly at all like i use to when i was younger and in high school. i learned the hard way with head gaskets and i dont have the money for a tranny but i figured it will hold up enough for a dyno run or 2 and a few passes with some friends. you think 155cc will increase fuel mileage? with normal everyday driving like a normal person
