2002 ford exploer xls

Does the 2002 ford explorer 4 door xls 4.0 come standard with a transmission cooler

i do know theres no dipstick!!!!!!!!!

They may have changed on later models, but I think the tranny cooler came as part of the trailer towing package. I bought my '97 with the trailer package, and it had the tranny cooler with it. I believe there were some that didn't have it, but had the package added, and they added the tranny cooler as part of the package...

ALL 2002/ 2003 Explorer 4-doors come standard with the transmission cooler. If it has the optional class III/IV towing package, then it also has an engine oil cooler.

what would be the difference between a class two tow package and a class three for the ford exploer.

A Class II can tow a maximum of 3500 lbs. A Class III/IV can tow up to 5800 lbs. with a V6, or up to 7000 lbs. with a V8.
