Starter cable corroded off.

Starter cable corroded off.
The big positive cable that attaches to the starter/solinod corroded off right at the connecter. Actually the connecter broke in have.
I managed to get the crimped part of the connector off the cable. Cable is in great shape all the way up to the battery.
Can I just get a new connector and attach/crimp it to the cable?
I don't want to replace the entire harness.

I striped the cable and crimped a new copper connector on. Seal it with heat shrink and attached it back to the starter solinod. I coated the connection in dielectric grease.
Alot easier then replacing the harness.
