64 pickup
Are you sure it is a 1964 model year? There are some minor differences in the cab between those years. The biggest change for 1965 was the twin I-Beam front suspension. If you have a 1964 or prior, it is straight axle. 1965-1996 used the twin I-beam independent front suspension.
The 1964 and prior years used the Y-block engine family. Starting in 1965-1977(?) they used the 352/360/390 FE engines in the trucks. They all look identical and can be difficult to figure out which one. There should be some casting numbers on the engine block itself and also on the cylinder heads.
If you can post some pictures of it, you will probably get a few responses and answers to what you have. Use photobucket or something like that. The more information the better if you can provide it

This might be of some help; Can you tell us if your motor is mounted to the frame on the sides or is there a motor mount located on the front of the motor under the fan pulley area and the other location look to be attach to the area where the engine & transmission connect?
