warped rotors replacement

I have a 2001 ford F150 crew cab with a 5.4. Does anyone here also go thru front breaks rotors? I need to have them turned or replaced due to them getting warped every 6 to 8 months. I do pull a travel trailer from time to time with a GW of 5600lbs but most of the time it's just around town. I guess what Im asking is there a better rotor/pad combination then to ones I get from the local parts store?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Thanks in advance<o></o>

I use rotor pros rotors for heavy pulling/towning and have not had 1 problem out of them. I would highly recommend replacing all 4 rotors front and rear with the standard crossdrilled and slotted style rotors. Mine cost me 340 for front and rear rotors w/ ceramic pads, i would asume yours would cost the same.. www.rotorpros.net

Slotted rotors have eliminated warpage in the vehicles I've used them in. With that said, I installed a set of the frozen slotted rotors and have had no problem with them at all on my truck.

slots help disperse the brake pad gas and the drilled porton of the rotor helps cool the rotor

I also recommend that. Slotted rotors are resistant to warping, and combined with a good pad, they improve your stopping a lot.

What brands were they? Pricewise, high end, mid, or low end? I would like to know what to avoid.
