Question What Is This??

I found it under the dash when I was checking out some stuff. The harness is hanging next to it, but not sure what it is. Any thoughts?

It's been unhooked since last year, it kept staying on with the door shut. Best purpose it had was reminding me the lights were on.

I think one of our prestigious members did a write-up on how to kill the "key in ignition" chime but still keep the "headlights are on" chime...

Hmm... could be something like cutting certain wires from the harness. I would assume each wire goes to each connection it detects is activated, 1 for lights, 1 for key, etc.
