Well, what is your overall opinion of what you see? Did you notice the steering stabilizer on the front diff? That this is LOOSE! I can see where all the brake fluid is going too. Going to take the front driveshaft off to replace the front u-joints. Radiator is either going to get fixed or replaced. With the blow by you seen on there, think it will last a bit before rebuild or replace? Like I said, no oil just the smoke. We are going to wash that engine before we really start running it. Try to find any and all oil leaks.

As far as the fire and 850 degrees. How hot do those things get? Is 850 normal? Should we take the turbo off and clean it?

she's in need of some work.but you got a smoking good deal on a 4wd crew cab.
shoot, people have payed that and more just for the D60 sitting under it lol.
pretty impressive!
looks like someone got a little too close to something with the pass side mirror.iv done that once so far.clipped a mailbox, but it just shattered the glass.no dents.i was lucky.i got crowded into the ditch.
how many miles does she have on her?
the 12" wide tires make my spine shiver just thinking of fueling it up though.
rip that dented up bed off and toss a flat bed on her.

He is going to flatbed it in time. I am thinking someone was off roading or it was in an accident. The passenger side shock mount has been welded back on and the whole passenger side has war wounds....LOL

The two things I am worried about though is that blow by. No smoke from the tailpipe, (it is a straight pipe too) and the GP's. I am so hoping I can get them out w/o any issues.

The blow by not coming out of the tailpipe tells me the rings are probably ok....am I right in thinking that? But that would mean that the blow by is coming from the valve seals. Right? Geez I so need/want to figure this out. Hoping the motor isn't trashed.

Well there is a piece that goes from there to the intake tube. Not a CDR though. I just really wanna know what is causing this. I need to know how to fix it. Truck is way too nice to scrap. Nothing has been removed or touched by us. I don't know if the previous owner did or not.

And is yours ok? Do you still drive and work your truck? Will that cause a run-away if it gets into the air intake? Is he looking at a rebuild or a replacement?

I meant brackets instead of piece btw. Sorry about that...LOL

Yes, I drive it everyday. And it goes through the intake, I have no turbo yet but id still run it. Might wanna change the oil tho? Search blow by and see what you come up with. Iv seen ones that smoke at warm idle when you have fill cap off then rev it and it gets sucked all through the intake with cdr valve and goes away OR like mine you have fill cap off and smokes then rev it and still smokes at same pace.
