Diesel Exhaust Fluid Pump

I own a 2011 F350 Super Duty. 11000 kms on it. Have come up with a fault code that the DEF pump is not producing enough pressure to pump fluid through for cleaning the exhaust system. Took it to a dealer and they now inform me that the only way to replace the pump is to actually take the box off the truck to get at it. Is this true or is there another way of removng the pump to replace it with a new one. Anyone got any ideas?

Call another dealer and see if they say the same thing your dealer is saying. If so, let them do the work.
