2001 F150 - Need repair help
2001 Ford F150 XLT 4X4 Off Road - 5.4 L
Tailgate handle has broken and I can't open the tailgate...Any suggestions on how to fix??
Next problem...Manual 4x4 shifter on floor is not functioning (At least it's stuck in two wheel high). I think I pulled on it too hard and broke something
. Any one know how difficult this will be to fix??
I would like to fix these issues and put it up for sale.

On the inside of the tailgate, take the panel off and you can remove the handle to see whats wrong with it.
Sorry, cant help with the 4X4 shifter problem.
Have you looked under the truck to see if anything is disconnected?

Thanks Phil...I will try to remove the panel and take a look.
Haven't done any exploring on the 4x4 issue as the truck has pretty much been parked since January. I was trying to get a heads up on what may have happened from someone that had a similar problem.
