ive been working all day didnt have time to take a look lol but one quistion, what should the pressure be around on the fuel pressure if i checked it? thanks for sticking around!

ok i just checked the pressure just now... its 50 psi

I would also like to add, i found dirt on the bottom of the bowl.. It was pretty thick.. I didnt work on it cause i ran out of sunlight. So tomorrow iam gonna have to work on it for shure. The bowl looked pretty disgusting lol but maby thats the problem?I have a feeling it is.

You might want to just pull the bowl. Get yourself an o ring kit, new hoses and clamps from dieselorings.com. Clean it thoroughly and check for damage to the bowl and FPR.

Also you might want to consider ordering Ford part number F6TZ-9150-BA. That is a replacement mesh screen that is internal to the FPR.

Man.. Sounds expensive! But i gotta fix this truck whatever it takes. But thanks for the links and the help ill have to look into the bowl/line rebuild.

Probably about 75 bucks for all the parts I mentioned. Ford parts must have just had a price increase. Rather substantial increase in fact. You could probably do without the Ford part. The used mesh screens usually are mushroomed and are very difficult to clean effectively.

Did you say you had a fuel leak?...If so and it is leaking at the fuel pump, you may want to do it ALL at the same time.

Definitely call bob at dieselorings.com. I ordered from him saturday at 3:30, just priority mail, 2-3 days supposedly, package was in the mail monday morning. Can't beat that service.
