Hey f150 guys I own a diesel so I don't post here ever, but my buddy has an f150and we just replaced all the brake lines. Went to go check how it drives and can't get it to run. It just starts up and dies. We can get it to stay running by feathering the gas peddle but sounds horrible. Its been sitting for about a year and a half not being used much, any help would be awesome

the fuel rail on one bank has a schrader valve (like a tire). push the neelde and see if you have good pressure when motor is off. turn the key "on" a couple times and see if you hear the fuel pump prime the line and build pressure.... i might be temped to change the gasoline to "new" and see what happens. suck out as much as possible, then add 5 gallons of new and test. You can probably burn it up later by adding 2-3 gallons per NEW tank if the old gas proves to be the problem.

Ok sorry to take so long well we figured it out that night after about an hour of thinking. It turned out he installed the air filter wrong, so it wasn't getting any air. That means we were basically flooding it. But we got it under control. Brakes aren't good though, think the master cylinder is in need of replacemant
