Here is my Problem gentlemen I have a 93 Bronco with an Engine that has less than 60k on it I just replaced the fuel injectors when I replaced the injectors I found the # 7&8 cylinders had cut injector wires and I suspect it has been that way since the engine was installed because of power issues will never trust a shop like that again. I also replaced vac lines as the vacuum lines were all dry roted. I Drove it this weekend and it pings bad under load like it would if it were over heating does anyone have a clue what the issue could be. Also does anyone have or know where to find a vacuum diagram for the fuel canister line I failed emissions because there is a very small leak in the fuel evap system and I would like to trace the problem down
Pull fault codes. this will determine what, if any issues there are with the EEC-IV system that maintains engine and transmission performance. In the unlikely event there are no faults, warm the engine to normal operating temperature and check base timing with the SPOUT connector removed. With both of these procedures done, there should be, at the very least, a good indication as to the source of the problem.
