And from the breaking news category... Tony is slow on re-burns. They are free but they take time. If time is critical for you, there are other places you can spend your money.
Good to hear Chris. Hopefully everything goes well for Morgan.

Glenn, I'm not directing this towards you. I just think that he is handling it the best that he can at this point. People are going to be pissed if he stops taking orders, People are going to be pissed if he is slow to reburn, people are going to be pissed if the tuning is a little off because he has somebody filling his shoes while he takes care of his family.

It's dumb that every TW thread I see is somebody b***chin about it... There are literally 20 tuners out there, If you are unhappy, send your chip somewhere else so you get your chip back in two weeks instead of 4. When I sent mine in a few months ago, it took 3 weeks. Nobody saw me complaining. Tony joined up on another forum that was just started and literally his first post was telling a guy he will pay for the guy to get a reburn somewhere else. Tell me how many tuners will do that??

With this, I am done with this thread... Complain all you guys want... I am going to stick with Tony...

James, I don't know if you'll bother reading this, but people generally post to the forums for two primary reasons:

1) To ask questions and/or
2) To complain

In my 15 years on forums, that's about it. Typically, nobody really ever posts that they are having a nice day or that all is well. They are of the minority.

If Tony doesn't respond to his customers via phone or email, where are they to turn to ask? If he were to communicate something, anything, then they would know. You would not see folks asking about it.

With that said, we have heard good news about it and we're all feeling better for Tony and his family.

Honestly if the person filling his shoes would return emails and phone calls that would solve most problems. Just a contact to let the people who aren't on the forums know would be sufficient.

So I didnt mean for this post to turn into a bash fest for Tony, and i dont think that is really what it has become, with that said, i was just asking for advice from other members on what i should do, i have never done bussines with tony, but read lots of good things that why i choose him.....

But I bought this chip used, and was told that reburns where free... that was a lie, and i guess i shoulod of researched that better, the day after i bought it i got intouch with tony and found out that its free if you are the original owner, and $150 if you are not, so I paid the $150, and the overnight return shipping to Tony's account, on March 15th of 2011 on the box i got with the chip I read the adress to tony and before i could finish he said yes that was right.... so I went to UPS overnighted it there, found out after it was delevired it was the wrong place, my fault again i guess i should of checked on his site..... instead of going of what he told me, Luckly it was returned to me, took about 2 weeks to get it back.

Once I got it back i repacked it, with the right adress and sent it overnight again, I have tried to contact him several times, by phone and email, and still have not recieved it, even as i right this, I am starting to feel like I have been scammed, I mean he got his cash from me, and I cant get it back and now i leave inless then a week and would really like to have had the chip back, At this point i am really not sure what to do. I dont really have the extra cash to buy one from some other tuner, or the time, I dont think to get one here in time

Once again i only started this thread so someone else may be able to be more informed then i Was, and if the status changes then i will update this as soon as I can.

untill then i would appreciate some more input

Trust me, you have NOT been scammed and you will not be scammed by Tony, ever! You will get your chip back, if Tony received it, I promise.

Now, the free reburn deal, yes, that is to existing customers. Now your an existing customer and you will receive free reburns from now on, or at least you should. Whoever you bought the chip from should have told you that, but I guess they wanted you to buy the chip pretty bad.

My problem is is how long should I wait, I know it was delevired there I am really at the point of getting a chip from someone else and if i had the extra cash I would, i pulled strings with my budget just to get this chip before my trip, and it was all for nothing, I understand he has stuff going on, but maybe close up shop for a while, or something like that.

He has time to post, and log into other fourms, but cant even answer one of my emails, or phone calls?

I'm not sure how much longer it will be, but you WILL get your chip. Whether or not you get a chip from someone else is up to you, but you will definitely get your chip from Tony if he has it.

Thats all fine, but its not gonna do me any good if i get one from someone else. And no offense to you but i dont really believe i will ever get it, if he has time to post on other forums, and log into them even today, but cant send me a email or anything, I wasnt to up set until i found that out now im straight pissed, and I am pretty sure I have been screwed over. once again no offense to you but you are not tony, and you cant gaurantee me he will get it back to me, only he can and he choose not to, so i guess, hell i dont know what i guess at this point. I just know i am pretty pissed, and dont like getting burned

I'll guarantee it. It may take a little time, but you won't get screwed over. I'll drive over to Tony's house, or Randall's, or both if need be, but you'll get your chip. If Travis got you in touch with Randall, he'll get your chip back to you. Tony may be slow, but he's not a crook.

Randall's got a real job too. He'll get your chip done. It will just take time.
