I had a fuel system clean done, but the problem is persisting, although somewhat less consistently. I will look into the sender unit like you mentioned, and will probably have to get a mechanic to take a look at this point. Thanks for the help though.

Thats great to know. I have noticed that when idling in drive, the vehicle does seem to make a bit more noise than if moving. Would this say anything to either injector or pump? I can't quite describe the sound that it is making, but it sounds like there is a pretty limited list of issues its having at this point.

Looks like the fuel pump was the issue. New question though. It now seems like the vehicle is running with less power, and I'm wondering if perhaps the previous fuel pump was providing too much fuel to engine. Might explain why it seemed peppier than it does now, and might also explain why it seemed to be sucking down fuel more than I anticipated. Thoughts?
