Fuel pump or filter issue? When ever I have a gasser come into the shop with that kind of issue 99% of the time the fuel pump is able to provide enough to start but then pressure drops and car dies, let it sit, rock the key and will do exactly as you describe.
I agree though, pull codes first, write them down, clear them and see wich codes return. that will point you into some direction. if no codes, then I would watch fuel pressure.

I want to thank everybody for their responses. I have found my problem, my son-n-law had a scan tool and when he hooked it up no power at the connector. Found the 20 amp fuse blown for the cigar lighter, data link connector blown. Changed out the fuse and it has been running ever since. Again I want to thank everybody for their replies. I also want to thank everybody for offering to help me.

I pass through jennings often cause my wife has family in lake charles, so if I ever need anything I will look you up. And if ever in the new orleans and need anything give me a shout. Thanks for the offer to help.
