Quick A/C question
I fianlly decided to replace the dreaded white vacuum line in the engine compartment a couple of weeks ago. There was literally nothing left of it! Everything worked except Max AC on the high fan setting prior to fixing it. Now, the only blower setting that works is when it's set on high??? Is the fan selector **** run off of vacuum? I thought it was ony the temp settings that rely on vacuum and the fan setting was electronic. I searched here but couldn't really find my answer. I also googled the schematic, and it doesn't show the fan select switch on what I found.
Just curious for now since I'm in Houston and having the A/C on Max-high is definately not a problem. Any help is appreciated in advance.

Those arent the blower motor, they are the resistors for the blower motor. And yes, as L. Ward mentioned check those because if they are bad you will only have the "high" setting because that is from direct battery power.
