Should my ae work on an obs powerstroke? I tried on one today and it would not connect. So I tried on another, same result! Am I missing something? I have the newer style connector with the three lights and on my truck I get a red and green light, on the obs trucks I could only get a red light. Also checked the fuse and verified power with the cig lighter. Any thoughts?
Not sure on the J1850 ----. All I know is it works on my '01 and I thought as long as you had the 7.3 powerstroke option selected that it wouldn't matter what year the truck was.
What version AE are you running? I don't have an option for 7.3 powerstroke. Everyone always recommended selecting the specific vehicle type and non-obdII so there are less issues.
Try wiggling the proline connector to see if it has a loose connection. One of the threads I found at PSN had that issue.
