I have everything done on the 98 to 60 b0dy swap except the wireing, I saved all the harness but did not keep the things that I thought I wouldnt need, now when I turn on the key there is a relay in the box under the hood that keeps clicking and I dont know what it is because I dont have a diagram for the fuse boxes, also can anyone tell me what I can and can not remove from the 98 ranger and it still run, like anti theft, seat belt sensiors, wheel speed etc, when I try to start the truck there is a box under the dash that buzzes it does not have any #'s or markings on it. I have the 98 steering column and instrument pannel it the 60 truck along with all the wireing harness under the dash and under the hood I just unplugged everything with the idea that it would only plug back up in its correct location ( boy was I wrong!!) can anyone help?
Osiyo is right, the 1998 guys might know better than us. What size is the box that's buzzing? I used to have a truck that didn't have a headlight buzzer for when you turned the truck off and left your lights on. I left my lights on a lot and so I went to the parts store and bought a little universal black box for that purpose, maybe 1"X2" that I plugged into the fuse box and when I left the lights on it would buzz. Maybe your box is one of those?
