A dealership service manager told me that a recall on the 6.4 diesel rad problem may be announced next week.Has anyone else heard this or was he bsing ?
It is the first I has heard of it. We'll have to wait and see what comes out of it unless someone else speaks up. I haven't seen anything in the 6.4 forum about it.
I wonder if it will be a redesign of the radiator or just getting the problematic hyper extending bypass thermostat replaced and extending warranty on the radiator?
It would be the right thing for FORD to do something as the customer should get better life out of a radiator if the vehicle is maintained per the Ford maintenance guide.
