P0605?
I had my scanner hooked up and decided to run the self tests.
KOEO comes up with a P0605 within seconds. Clear it, run test again, comes right back up. It had this when I first got the truck last year, but the cel does not come on, and truck runs ok. (little sluggish to build boost) P.O. installed a banks pack, so I pulled the pcm to check for a chip, looks like pcm was replaced (possibly used pcm), and no chip or anything.
What exactly is this code? scanner says pcm internal ram error, says to erase and run test again, if it comes back replace pcm.
2001 f350, I am using my snap-on verdict to run tests.
p.s the reason I had the scanner hooked up to begin with was to try and reprogram the speedo for the larger tires. I thought it was done through the pcm but can not find anything, do I have to change the gear on the speed sensor?

I know the speedo can be reset with Auto Enginuity, but not sure with the snap on scanner. One of our members, Woodnthings(aka Ken) compiled a ton of AE info on his web site here https://sites.google.com/site/woodnt.../autoenginuity
maybe what he has there will lead you to the answer on the speedo with the Snap On scanner.

The speedometer is recalibrated through the diagnostic connector, but is actually a value that is changed in the ABS module that resets the speed. The number of 'counts per mile' are changed. I reprogrammed mine with a Hypertech Speed Calibrator before I had an AE.
