transmission cooler

I have a 96 bronco with the 5.8 and e4od. Transmission is being built as we speak. Built to last this time. Worried about keepin it cool tho. my stock transmission cooler has a huge hole in it. Im wondering what a good afternarket one to purchase to replace would be..point me in the direction?? Thanks ahead fellas!

Probably just a decent replacement. No need to sink tons of money into a fancy one. You might look into a extended pan, built for more oil and cooling.

Will you place a shift kit in that tranny? i've read a lot that it will help around these parts.

If anything will actually help and E4OD short of a large furnace to melt it down, then the other extreme of cooling it down might actually help keep it alive for a few more miles.

ya i heard those deep pans dont really work well. and id rather sink some cash into a great cooler cause the heat and smoothness of the shifting kills these transmissions. im actually getting a reprogrraming kit u can choose how hard the trans shifts and stuff. pretty neat.
