Radiator Question

Any recommendations on whether to use a radiator with a built-in transmission cooler or use a separate radiator and transmission cooler?

Really depends on a few factors. What build is your motor (stock, warm, race ready). I run a warm 390/C6 combo with no separate tranny cooler and works fine. I run my lines through the radiator.

All depends really.

What trans do you have? C6?

What are you using your truck for? Towing? General usage? etc.

What is the climate like where you live? Hot? Mild summers?

I noticed your build of the FE. So...if you tow a lot and run in HOT summers, I would use an external trans cooler with an added electric fan.

However, if you use your truck to do general things...then you should be fine using the built-in trans cooler.

Good luck...
