97 E40D transmission cooler bypass

I'm not the best in this category but I would get a bigger cooler. But I wouldn't imagine why you would bybass the cooler. Like I said not the smartest in auto's. I have read that the factory coolers aint that good.

AFAIK the by-pass (Thermostat) wasn't installed on e4od's, it comes with the 4r100's. Search the NBS forums for more info: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=31
I have this one and like it alot. The tranny gets up to 175F within 3-5 miles and stays there, even when pulling over 20K. Search around you can find it cheaper.
