Shackle flip question

Hello all, I normally hang out up in the 73-79 forum, but have a question I thought someone down here could give me some good insight on. What exactly is involved in doing a shackle flip on a 78 F150 4x4, and how much lift would I gain? Thanks in advance.............

It's not all that involved. Check the f250 shackle flip thread a few threads down, it's basically the same for your 150.

dont forget to move the front hanger back (or the rear hanger forward) to correct the crappy shackle angle you get from simply flipping the factory hanger and the tire ending up not centered in the wheelwell.
