Here is a teaser pic for you guys.. As y'all know I've had a T4 kit sitting in the shop waiting for awhile. I will include a pic of that for those who didn't see it.
haha ****ing knew it t4, called it, awesome travis. now get that chit in and clear up that smoke and bring the truck to life. question tho, are your up-pipes flexible or something? im confused by what looks like a shock boot in the middle of the pipe.
That's an S465. 83mm turbine wheel, .90 housing. Thinking about sending it to Bullseye for a "batmowheel" billet wheel and race cover, but it's also going to have something big in front of it too

That's what we all call bellowed uppipes. That joint allows the uppipes to flex a bit so that they can be solid mounted on top, eliminating the donut gaskets. Turbo will stay in the box until the engine comes out.
I learn something new everyday haha, so those are bellowed up-pipes cool. Im guessing the engine isnt coming out until the f150 is running? Why wait until the engines out?
Travis, I hate to see such a nice turbo sitting on a shelf in a box. Because I consider you a friend, I'm willing to pay the shipping between TX and WA for the turbo and mount kit. I will put it on my truck and thoroughly test it to make sure it's in good operating condition until such time you are ready to install it. I'll send you a PM with my shipping info
65mm compressor, 83mm turbine eh? Hmmm....
Chase, shipping will be $1800 for the turbo and $550 on the mounting kit. Pay the shipping and I will send them to you. LOL
As Steve said, I'm stock piling parts until the big day when the F-150 starts tearing up the pavement. Right now I have an ATI Damper, DI 3" intake plenums(thanks Glenn), one turbo, T-4 kit, H11 headstuds, rebuilt heads w/ some smoothing, hardened valve seats, and springs, and a couple other little things here and there. Before I start tearing it apart I will have another turbo, pistons, rods, girdle, main studs, headers, and I will get Jim to build me some super secret squirrel injectors. lol
I just hope I get to use the parts one day. LOL. You can see how long I've been holding the T-4 kit and I had the heads and studs a year before that. hahaha

Main reason not to install the stuff right now... Look at those uppipes. They are solid. That's going to really suck to install with the engine in the truck. Also, aside from that. With the engine on the stand, it's MUCH easier to change the heads. It can be done in the truck, but it's a lot easier out of the truck. Also, I'm sure since we are closing in on 340k miles now, I'm sure the engine could use a rebuild.
Oh and the F-150 is close to being done.. Kinda.. In other words, I'm running out of things to trick out on it without doing an SAS swap and 1 ton drivetrain. It should be a really fun daily driver like my PSD is right now though.. That is also the only reason for building it, so it can stand a chance at holding a light to the PSD
