'93 F250 5.8L engine code H. The first code to come up was 173; HEGO shows system always rich. I replaced the oxygen sensor. The next code to come up was 332; insufficient EGR flow detected. I replaced both the EVP sensor. I then got a code 334; EGR closed voltage higher than expected. I replaced the EGR valve itself. I am still getting the 334 code. Should I replace the EGR solenoid or am I missing something right in front of me?
The 334 code just states the the EGR valve isn't closing according to parameters. This should not affect driveability or emmisions. The EGR solenoid could be shimmed at the gasket to adjust the sensor height. Maye only a couple of thousandths.
