intercooler tubes

I am putting the bus back together and I have both the aluminum and plastic intercooler tubes anybody have an opinion in which one to use.

I've never heard of problems with the metal tubes, but have heard of a few issues with the plastic. METAL!!!

The aluminum looks way cooler , and i think displaces heat better than plastic .

Or the plastic one will get a hole rubbed in it from the bottom of the air filter. mine was just covered under warranty, will probably happen again before my warranty is up.

LOL--stick a magnet to it and see if it's aluminum.....mine aren't. Probably magnetic stainless would be my guess.
