Need engine parts...

Anyone know where I can find a complete crankcase, pistons, and crankshaft for my 1988 bronco II XL? It overheated and a piston shot through the case, knocking out my starter...I know...it's crazy! But I've been trying to search the internet and all I get is crap. Any suggestions of a place that might have this stuff available? I live in Pasadena, Ca. Thank you!

Welcome to FTE!
Your best bet is to just transplant a salvage yard motor, most have a guarantee and will be your most cost effective route.

Have 2 of em, sittin in garage. one was running when it caught fire, the other had a bad tranny, good motor. I can pull, strip, wash, and verify good or bad, visually. check shipping costs, and make offer. both 2.9's
