Any know where to get a grill for a 1979 f150. I broke mine during a recent snow storm busting through a snow drift that the city had plowed, blocking me from entering my neighborhood. I did get through it but it cracked my grill it was about 4 foot tall. So far I have not recieved anything worth from *** , and have spent about $600 bucks through them, so I dont think that I will order one from them again. Any other places to order from out there?
You can buy from the Online Store here, but I don't see a grille for a 79.
You can try Auto Krafters or the Bronco graveyard. I am sure other people will come up with more. Sorry to hear about your experiences with that other company, it is sad to hear that another enthusiast has had problems.
I have a complete brand new chrome grill, <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/"><a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/"><a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com/">headlight door</a></a></a>s, etc. I got them from a friend of mine to keep as spares. Try <a href="http://www.qksrv.net/click-525300-5900434"><a href="http://www.qksrv.net/click-525300-5900434"><a href="http://www.qksrv.net/click-525300-5900434">J.C. Whitney</a></a></a>, I think that's where they came from. The rear grill is the hard one to find though.

Try <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com"><a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com"><a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com">Obsolete Ford Parts</a></a></a> out of Oklahoma. I've had good luck with them. Head light surrounds are $19 or so each and the grill is about $30-40 new. The grill surround that is aluminum (I think) is about $120+. They also offer a argent with black back ground grill I believe.

Try <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com">Dennis Carpenter</a>, they have grilles in all the flavors, <a href="http://motorhaven.autoanything.com">Obsolete Ford Parts</a> web site has been down for almost a week.
yeah, check your local auto yard, I know I have seen a lot of them in the local one around here.. I also have a spare "shell" off my 79 parts truck sitting in my garage. The grills themselves usually crack pretty easily.. so its harder to find them in nice shape. but I know that aftermarket pieces can be found cheap.
