IWE question

Good evening,
I have a 2006 F150 4X4 with the 5.4, about a week ago I started hearing a squealing sound coming from the front passenger side. I thought it was a bearing so I pulled it apart yesterday. I pulled off the wheel end and found some metal shavings in the grease and it does make some squealing sounds when I spin it in my hands. I already ordered the Timken IWE, should I have to order anything else? I am going to pull the half shaft out and clean all the metal shavings out of the grease prior to re-installing it. Any thoughts on this? Also, what keeps moisture out of the internal hub gearing as the IWE had no gasket or silicone on it. Both of these were already replaced under warranty about 30,000 miles ago. I appreciate any advice.
Jeff
