Dana 50 Drop Bracket's

Hey, My truck is an 86 f250. My buddy bought a 4 inch lift for his 89 f250 and did a SAS. He gave me the drop bracket's for the front axle, im just wondering if they are going to work on my truck? I would take some picture's of them but my wife has the camera, anyone have pictures for the 80-86 bracket's? thanks!!!

I'm still searching and have yet to come up with an answer... Is anyone able to shed some light on this?

I would think they would fit. But all you have to do is pretend you are buying some brackets from a place that sells them, and check the part numbers for the different years. I would do it, but I am on dial-up right now.

Normally the f250's come with the dana44hd frontend, but that should not matter as far as the brackets.

I'm pretty sure they are the same thing. I have never heard anything about them being different.

I thought the d50 was a bolt in swap for the dana44 hd correct? So they should be the same and require the same brackets?
