Noticed today my front tires on both sides has some real choppy wear while my back ones are wearing perfect. I do have some issues with the front end like clunking noise and so on. Curious if there is a common problem that causes this kind of wear or is it just an alignment issue.

You could have alignment issues (bad ball joint, improper toe-in, etc.). Some wear like that is pretty much normal on a chunky offroad tire. Front-to-back rotation would be a good idea every 6K miles or so. If you have never rotated them in 20K miles, that wear would be very normal, IMO.

 

typical front tire wear for an aggressive tire... its because its steering axle. I'd rotate them every 3K if you want them to last a while. Thats what I did with my Cooper Discoverer STT's.

 

Double Check for slop in the ball joints and etc.(Can't hurt to check) However as said before that is somewhat normal for more aggressive tires on the front. I would rotate the tires more often.

 

Some would argue those look pretty good for a big lugged tire on the front of a solid axle truck...
