The tranny started making this clunk-clunk sound a week ago. It is like something is banging around inside. It only starts when it is warm and most of the time triggered after a turn or a bump, turning right is worse. It does it mostly when leaving from a stand still or idling down a hill. It does not do it at highway speed. It stops doing it if I put the vehicle in neutral. The tranny works fine otherwise and I have never had problems with it. It has had a complete flush at the dealership and I dropped the pan once after and was planning on doing it again soon. I checked the tranny fluid and level is okay. Any ideas on what this might be or how I could find out? Should I see the dealership or an independent tranny shop? Thanks

That number is not a recall. It's a Customer Satisfaction Program. They are very different from a recall.
There was a problem in the 2004 where a pin in a planetary carrier backed out and caused problems. This doesn't sound like that, but I suppose it could be.

What are the symptoms if this would be the case
Thanks
