ok i got a 1999 ford f 450 diesel no engine light but put scaner to it and it is saying kam p0603 code. and my exbpv is noy closeing and my high idel is not kicking in when E brake is down. just the other day it worked the high idel kicked in and exbpv and it hasent kicked back on sins. could you guys help thanks.

You are probably using some kind of progammer, etc.. and you will get this code.. pretty normal.. Or maybe you disconected your batteries recently... see:

DId you buy the truck new ? If not, maybe the previous owner had a programmer or chip.. Did you disconnect your battery recently ?

The code is a Keep Alive Memory...
Meaning you cleared the codes, disconnected the batterys or otherwise messed with the PCM in some way.
Has nothing to do with the High Idle or the EBPV...
The EBPV will not close unless the temps are low enough for the PCM to call for it, same thing with the High Idle... Unless the temp and other parameters are met it will not do this.

This sensor will usually give a 0475 or 0476 code when bad ..

P0603 - PCED - Internal control module KAM error - Open PCM pin, disconnect B+, faulty PCM
Disconnecting positive cables on batts is disconnecting B+. You can reset Keep Alive Memory to cler the code.

is that bad open pin ? cuzz it will run good then it will not. and my mph gauge will not work then it will idk wats up. i need it fixed be for next week cuzz i am pulling a rock cwroler to camp. thanks

This could be a loose UVCH (Under Valve Cover Harness) or burned center pin.

Intermittent speedo can be a bad VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) on top of rear diff.
