my over drive light is blinking and when i hit 20 it bogs down then u have to stomp on it in it revs back up and gose it says its in 4x4 low on the dash but it doesnt feel like it is idk where to start on this anybody know what this is?
Funny things happen.
Get the codes read first.
As an example only; If a certain fuse were to blow from an electrical fault such as a shorted OX sensor heater circuit, it takes power off from the shift solenoids, torque convertor clutch and a bunch of other operations and causes all kind of 'goings on' until someone is smart enough to figure it out.
A trouble like this takes looking at the wire diagram to discover that the power the fuse feeds goes to 'SEEMNGLY" unrelated places until you see in on the drawings.
How it all started was with a string of codes referring to a number of different areas but tuned out to be all common to "one" fuse.
This is a real time example I have already had, that a trans shop could not figure out.
Need to see the codes first to get a direction on the issue. We cannot guess the fix or trouble ahead of it.
Good luck.
Transmission codes are in the 7xx range and not engine related if the issue is in the transmission.
The CEL light may not come on for example if a clutch in the trans is slipping.
It's not electrical in nature so the PCM cannot detect it.
Be sure about it because you are having an issue for some reason.
its weird i un hooked the battery to reset it because it wouldnt start now its shifts fine no blinking light nothing i think i have some electrical issues
