help with zf

HMMM maybe it's locked up. I think other gears are good guy i got it from i think he said reverse and 2nd but i drove it 200 miles home and no problems with anything but reverse.
My truck is a 2wd f450superduty with the drum e brake. I bought a 2wd f350 zf because i thought all 2wd were the same. But it's not so i bought tranny for nothing. I could put it in without parking brake but not only will i not have e brake i will have to get drive shaft lengthened.
